Quota is usually set a 4-5X of OTE compensation. Meaning that a salesperson might be supposed to bring in 5X their salary in ARR, and that they already pay back their salary at 20% of quota. Not counting all second-order benefits of having more clients + all future revenue past year 1. I don't know how much the OTE/New ARR is at Salesforce, but don't worry about them, they're making money on all their sales and an even bigger return on their top performers!

@TheJanPolednik I like "How" articles - when they are "How I did X by doing Y". "How we doubled our reply rates by adding an image in one of the messages" or something like this
