Whilst looking at someone’s account here (a Notts cricketer), I spotted we had a mutual friend and then saw it was @LisaLynch. I never actually met Lisa, but she was an absolute inspiration and she was taken much too soon. What a loss she was. RIP, kid.

@ericabuist @LisaLynch They made a drama out of her book, with Sheridan Smith in the lead, and that moment's in the film. If I didn't know it had actually happened I'd have assumed they'd written it for the drama. You really couldn't have made that up.
@ericabuist Amazing! The most bitter-sweet version of this sort of story I know is my late friend the lovely @LisaLynch, who upon being given counselling after being told her cancer was incurable was recommended HER OWN BOOK on living with cancer.
Sometimes I miss my mate @LisaLynch so much I put on #thecword so I can watch our lovely @Sheridansmith1 bring her back again for an hour. She was a real whip smart pal was our Lisa.
