Last night, I informed the Temple City Council their files are now with federal investigators, and a formal complaint has been filed under 18 U.S.C. § 666 for the fraudulent use of $8M in federal ARPA funds. Their response? A 5-0 vote to approve their own agenda, which included payments to: The crisis PR firm hired to spin this scandal. The media company that doctored the video of their Brown Act violation. The JPIA, the regional slush fund that insures them against their own illegal acts.
