EPSTEIN FILES TRANSPARENCY ACT II: THE FIGHT FOR ACCOUNTABILITY CONTINUES Reps. Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna have introduced H.R. 9694, the Epstein Files Transparency Act II, to force the DOJ to comply with the original transparency law signed by President Trump. The bill would give state attorneys general, survivors, and other authorized parties the right to sue the U.S. Attorney General when Epstein-related files are withheld, delayed, concealed, or improperly redacted. It would also require unredacted records to reach state and local prosecutors pursuing real investigations. New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez is seeking records connected to Epstein’s Zorro Ranch, but federal delays and limited DOJ cooperation have blocked access to materials his office says are critical to its investigation. This is about more than documents. It is about forcing transparency, supporting survivors, and exposing a system of abuse that powerful institutions have kept buried. @RepThomasMassie joins to discuss.
