what enables the future of design? worth reading @reve detailed post on our unique approach to training image models: "scaling laws apply to layout models [...] produce higher quality images when we increase the number of regions they output, essentially increasing their visual thinking context."
Anyone who thinks AI interfaces (chatbots, Codex, Code, NotebookLM, etc) are intuitive should spend some time explaining how to use them to three other people. I promise you will realize that there a dozen little tricks and traps to getting a good answer & that act as roadblocks.
but with AI agents, it might. changes in Figma can trigger agents to update the guidelines which then update the codebase. changes in the codebase can update the guidelines, which then update some elements Figma & Notion.
design systems drift from reality as products evolve. the traditional answer has been to staff them with people to keep the system relevant. that's never worked.
