BREAKING: Israel is dropping bombs on tents in Gaza’s Khan Younis right now, burning Palestinians alive. Again. This is supposed to be a “safe zone”. Over 18 civilians have been killed so far, including 8 children. This is a Holocaust.

Sickens me that for 10 months we marched peacefully to demand an end to the genocide in Gaza and we were framed and smeared as violent, divisive and driven by hate. Then actual fascists start rioting, looting and engaging in racist violence and there’s barely a murmur.

I watched a fun movie about a doddering emperor whose regime depends on resource extraction from a desert hinterland and who not-very-covertly supports a brutal counter-insurgency. It was nice to escape into fantasy for a bit.
