Last week, Ambassador @FrancescaCV_MT had the pleasure to engage with a group of 20 students during a fireside chat on ‘Gender-Sensitive Policymaking in Practice’, organised by the @OSCE Gender Issues Programme and @unsavienna at the @DA_Vienna, exploring the role of leadership, diplomacy, and public policy in advancing gender equality, as well as the importance of perseverance in driving meaningful institutional change. Ambassador Camilleri Vettiger reflected on what inspired her to pursue a career in diplomacy, shared her experiences of navigating resistance and institutional challenges when advocating for gender equality, and spoke candidly about the importance of strategic patience and perseverance when progress seems too slow. She also exchanged views with participants on the role of young people in shaping more inclusive policies and leadership structures, offering practical advice on how they can contribute meaningfully to advancing gender-sensitive policymaking today. Today, 41 @OSCE pS, including 🇲🇹invoked the #MoscowMechanism to investigate Russia’s policy of indoctrination & militarization of Ukrainian children in 🇷🇺 & the occupied territories of 🇺🇦. 🇲🇹 remains committed to accountability, the protection of children, & upholding int. law.

Building on its 2025 Presidency of the @coe, 🇲🇹 reaffirmed its shared commitment to #democracy, human rights & European security & looks forward to continued #cooperation and enhanced synergies b/w the OSCE & the CoE.

🇲🇹 joined likeminded @OSCE pS, the 🇪🇺 & its MS, & other members of the Diplomatic Corps to mark the 4th Anniversary of the war in 🇺🇦. 🇲🇹 reiterates its support to  🇺🇦's sovereignty, independence & territorial integrity, & remains committed to a comprehensive, just & lasting #peace.

On the 4th Anniversary of Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine, 🇲🇹 the Hon. @DeputyPMIanBorg addressed the @OSCE Reinforced PC Meeting, where he condemned the ongoing senseless violence & flagrant violations of international law in 🇺🇦. As a founding member of the Register of Damage for 🇺🇦 under the auspices of the @coe & signatory of the Convention establishing the Claims Commission, 🇲🇹 will continue to support the call for full reparation for the harm and damage caused by the war. The Hon. DPM also welcomed the recent visits of the OSCE CiO & the Secretary General in Kyiv & Moscow & underscored the importance of #dialogue & #diplomacy in support of peace efforts.

Four years since Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine began, we honour the resilience and courage of the Ukrainian people. We reaffirm our unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity within its internationally recognised borders.
