Reminder to myself: if secret key validation is turned on in the M2 backend, in menu.xml file the "action" attribute has to start with the route id, not the route front name. Otherwise secret key validation will always fail.
Reminder to myself: Even if Magento 2 is set to production mode, environment still works/behaves like in developer mode as long as /var/di/gobal.ser file is not found.
Also next time I face a '@SuppressWarnings(PHPMD.NPathComplexity)' while debugging, I will cancel all meetings for the day...-
