@SteveHiltonx Same issues with construction and home building industries. It’s systemic across government bureaucracy but absolutely pervasive and stifling in California. Loss of industry is a serious economic issue for our State, this should not be taken lightly.

I want to be polite about this but your information and understanding of military and economic power along with geography is highly flawed. Considering the United States already controls 3 of your borders and the majority of your nations defense your assumptions on difficulty are incorrect. You also mentioned two other nations who are in the same boat, protected and provided military technology by the US. Yes Canada is a large nation but almost all of your population exists within close proximity to the US border and the east and west coasts. Because majority of your nation is inhospitable, you have severe winters and you’re not a self sustaining nation with inputs, technology or services you are a very easy target to destabilize and blockade into the winter. I’m not saying the US should do it but projecting military might halfway across the globe is very different than pushing north of your borders to a neighboring nation that is isolated from all other allies.

We clearly aren’t watching the same military engagement. This isn’t even war, if I were another nation I’d be terrified. The US just destroyed every leading manufacturers’ radar systems and air defense while projecting air superiority and regional control without hitting infrastructure targets. Yes we lost some forward operating bases along the way but we played this engagement in a politically correct way not to harm the native Iranian population currently imprisoned by the IRGC. Do you know what geography is? If a nation can project that type of power halfway across the world imagine what we can do on our own soil of North America. If you’re going to reply please try and use some intellect so it’s a worthwhile discussion.

@MarioNawfal Obviously history shows us that there is no such thing as “binding international safety rules” just look at anytime one of these agreements have been made. Literally every one has been broken by one country or another.

People and nations can also change and align themselves over time. I’m American and I have enough respect for Japan and the Japanese culture and its value to society that I would go to war in defense of Japan without question. But I’d also go to war for the destruction of Islam. One is a great culture the other is a religious weapon.

It’s also the perfect time to act as winter is approaching and without utilities and cross province communications or viable trade logistics many regions of Canada will not be able to sustain themselves especially the city centers which is where the voting population and demographic problem exists.

Time to take Canada we can do it with drones, precision strikes on infrastructure, 10,000 men and a navy blockade of the western and eastern shores of Canada. Water, gas, power, telecoms, tunnels and bridges all at once. Drop in forces and capture and hold critical infrastructure, political and industry leaders, no boats or aircraft in or out or they are destroyed. Golden Done can also be a golden prison. Canadians need to see themselves as a growing danger to America, not enough to beat us but just enough to make us respond violently enough to protect ourselves.

@MarioNawfal Lies, California has high prices due to its own choices. We are one of the only energy self sufficient states in the nation and we have politicians that have destroyed that forcing us to be importers and pay heavier taxes and fees. Proportionally nothing to do with trump.

It’s well documented in the intelligence and military communities that Iran has been working towards increased ballistic missile ability, production and range. Many of the ordinance used by the US military in this engagement was to dismantle this supply, manufacturing ability and radar/communications network used to support these weapon systems.
