@OctolingMelody "Well... as stable as you can call things right now, anyway. We are gonna need more power eventually though. Not just at my place, I mean like as a whole." Vivian has talked long enough, she starts on her second bowl of noodles, she doesn't want them to go cold after all.

Vivian has begrudgingly decided to leave her home because she was out of food. Though it's hard to ask for a better consolation than going to her favourite ramen joint. She's got two large bowls in front of her and she's happily slurping up some noodles from one of them.

@OctolingMelody "Well... not really. My workplace doesn't produce that much, and we'd need a fair bit of power to really increase production. But we definitely get more than enough to feed your entire squad."

@OctolingMelody "Oh, yes. I even got my degree in biology, and a lot of that knowledge does cross over with the medical field. But I mostly work with plants and agriculture. Ya know, the stuff that's hoping to phase out traditional farming at some point."

@OctolingMelody "That's... weird. Sounds like the sort of thing you should see a doctor about. Unfortunately, I'm not the sort of doctor that helps sick and injured people."

@OctolingMelody "Oh... well that makes sense. Still, I never heard of a soldier that didn't talk before. Maybe it's not my place to speak, but... how does that work? I figure there has to be a decent level of communication between you and the people you work with."

@OctolingMelody Vivian's brain almost stops working entirely as she looks at the doodle. As far as she knew, this wasn't standard for the military at all, and she highly doubted that it was a new thing. "Uh... okay. Sure. If you're not mad, then what are ya?"

@OctolingMelody Well... that's odd. This is definitely the weirdest soldier Vivian has ever seen. It almost makes her want to just leave immediately, but she'd rather deal with the strange soldier than waste perfectly good food. That would be unforgivable.

@OctolingMelody After waiting for a response that never comes, Vivian returns to her food once again. She's absolutely certain that this soldier is judging her now. Great. "Well... sorry you're having a bad day..."

@OctolingMelody Vivian looks at Kara as she sits down next to her, but pretends not to notice for a few more seconds, thinking she's going to say something. Evidently, she doesn't. So she'll have to do it herself. "Uh... Hi there?"

@OctolingMelody Vivian eyes the soldier for just a moment before returning to her meal, it's not an unusual sight, and it would be quite rude to stare. She is one of the only other people in the building though, so it's not like there's much else to look at. She just hopes she doesn't get -

Shira Shira was formerly an octoling soldier until a tragic accident caused her to lose her left arm. She's worked as a teacher ever since making a recovery. She may come off as a bit harsh at times, but she usually means well.

Vivian Vivian is an octoling scientist/farmer that spends her time at work growing food in a lab. And with her free time, she likes to tinker with whatever machines she can get her hands on. Other than that she's very carefree, to the point of being a bit lazy.
