So @fordnation will pay our hydro and gas bill while we are closed (and not using any)? With most dance studios experiencing income losses in the 10s of 1000s, this is almost an insult. And the work to get the rebate will be an insult. @CFIB @CdnChamberofCom

And all businesses that face any capacity or other restrictions as step 3 begins deserve another round of Small Business Support Grants. Ontario needs to reopen this program with ongoing funding until every restriction is removed (as is happening now in Western Canada).

If you run a gym, dance studio or sports facility, the govt tells you "outdoor and indoor fitness classes and personal training permitted, with restrictions." But zero information on what the restrictions are or how many one can serve.

Children's Dance Studio owners are NOT quite happy being in step 2. Most have been closed for in-person classes since November. The Premier @fordnation is not only not providing additional support, we are not sure he even knows we exist given his comments. @MacLeodLisa

Not sure I'd characterize gym owners, restaurants without patios, dance studios, yoga, event spaces of all types (weddings, conferences, music halls, etc.) as being "quite happy" given we crossed their thresholds well before step 2 and they remain closed. #onpoli

With numbers like these, it is beyond ridiculous that Ontario remains in lockdown. SK & AB will remove nearly all COVID restrictions within days while Ontario still has presented no plan to fully reopen. Even step 3 (in late July) is a partial reopening of most businesses.
