Whatever increases they get, they will give it away in tips somewhere else so they will have gained nothing. How about advocating for lowering taxes and give less to fraud. Did you do the math of what happens when salaries go up and so does inflation? Organizations make you believe you are getting a raise but yet you find yourself never really advancing or doing better because everything else goes up to eat up the raise you got.

The public cannot absorb one penny more. The public has already been asked to pay astronomical amounts in tips. What you fail to mention is that business owners have shifted their responsibilities, they used to pay the people they hired and now they have shifted that to the public by forcing them to pay ridiculous tips. I think we should all stop going to these places for the abuse and now you want us to up the minimum wage. Are you going to get rid of the tips if we do so?

Firefighters were hot and fit for the job. Calendars were often times made about them. People did not have their whole bodies covered in tattoos. We would play for hours and our parents didn’t know where we were until we returned for dinner. Always walked to school with friends. There were 3 channels on tv and comics on Saturday. So many good things. We danced a lot, roller blade and had parties at friend’s houses all the time. We had fun inside a car that had no seatbelt and loved it. . Grateful and blessed for that and so much more.
