Two years ago I spoke at the NY MBA annual convention, as I was ramping up my @MBAMortgage leadership responsibilities. It felt great to return for the 10th anniversary convention - always a privilege to talk with members who are looking out for our industry in local markets.
Day 3 of the Democratic National Convention for the @MBAMortgage advocacy team included an event with the Illinois MBA and @nardotrealtor National Association of REALTORS®. We're aligned on many issues re: housing finance and the importance of sustainable lending practices.
Excited to be at the Democratic Convention in Chicago with @MBAMortgage . We began our advocacy efforts by meeting with members of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services promoting housing finance policies that support affordable homeownership and community development.
I had the privilege of being with @MBAMortgage 's stellar advocacy team at the GOP convention. It's been a productive few days. Chair-Elect Laura Escobar and I can't wait to get back at it again at the Democratic Convention next month. Here are a few closing thoughts.

It was great to be with the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida at their annual meeting in Sarasota today. They had a nice turnout despite the bad weather. It shows how committed they are to our industry.
