Cut my teeth on the Crash as I’d been licensed for six months - calling from the 103rd floor of the WTC in training most suspects & prospects already had 4-5 stockbrokers. Mid year you cud get 9% on 30 yr treasuries & week before Crash 10% - then the rubber band snapped! Prepare

The University of Hong Kong ordered the removal of a sculpture, called the Pillar of Shame, commemorating the crushing of the Tiananmen Square protests in 1989. It was erected 24 years ago. FROM THE ECONOMIST THIS WEEK - we’re doing the same in America sadly!

Food prices doubled in 1933-34. Now, was this because of the New Deal and the Fed, or was it a severe drought? That supply-side inflation shock didn't last & neither will this one. We had an inflation spike led by oil/commodities from Oct 06-Jul 08 and the same hyperventilating.
