The V8 JavaScript Engine is actually written in C++. It's not the problem. You seem to have an irrational dislike. Like it or not, the dependency graph for modern software is just larger. There's more standardised encryption, more translation layers, more secure coding structure.

We need a pure C++/ C based browser. No v8, no bullshit. The build pipeline for modern browsers is fucking broken. Where once applications were small, now are bloated and have too much stake at operating systems lower level functions. Impossible? Idk.
