I love my car. I’ll keep cherishing it but sadly I have to stay disciplined on miles before lease up in May ‘28 since resale likely destroyed now. RIP dream of buying out residual. EX60 Cross Country it is, perhaps?

Selfishly I’m bummed I shouldn’t go way over lease miles now because my car will likely have no resale value. For the car industry, I think it’s undeniable Polestar was barely a ripple in US. Much more relevant in Europe. Will keep an eye on what’s cooking across the pond.

@Rec1pr0city I said marketing contributes to the media y’all love to blame. Media headlines wouldn’t be talking about FSD and Autopilot if Tesla was more honest about communicating what the systems can and can’t do. It’s also hard for normal people to even know which is which!

Tesla stans slowly learning that supervised L2 is not the same as "it basically drives itself" the hard way. Cavalier marketing has its cons. The media is not out to get you, there's just a story you don't like. You can't expect nuance when you don't dish it yourself.

You can love Tesla, Elon and FSD, hate the media but the bottom line is things like this should be eye opening and be the reason for change. What is the change? Well, I don't know but while a car is in FSD it should not be allowed to be manually accelerated into a house at 73mph.
