Elon spent the last couple of hours designing and constructing a new jet propulsion unit, creating free energy, and curing cancer. I spent that same time printing a shipping label.

Researchers for the Massachusetts Turnpike Authority found over 200 dead crows near greater Boston recently, and there was concern that they may have died from Avian Flu. A bird pathologist examined the remains of all the crows, and, to everyone’s relief, confirmed the problem was definitely NOT Avian Flu. The cause of death appeared to be vehicular impacts. However, during the detailed analysis it was noted that varying colors of paints appeared on the bird’s beaks and claws. By analyzing these paint residues it was determined that 98% of the crows had been killed by impact with trucks, while only 2% were killed by an impact with a car. MTA then hired an ornithological behaviorist to determine if there was a cause for the disproportionate percentage of truck kills versus car kills. The the ornithological behaviorist eventually concluded the cause: when crows eat road kill, they always have a look-out crow in a nearby tree to warn of impending danger. They discovered that while all the lookout crows could shout “Cah“, not a single one could shout “Truck.”

Actually it's the reverse. Under theism, a rational God creating an orderly universe with stable secondary causes makes the success of methodological naturalism expected. Under atheism, there's no reason to expect an intelligible cosmos at all, so MN working well is far more surprising on naturalism.

Or its the success of methodological naturalism, which is surprising on theism but a matter of course given atheism. Hence, that fact about science is some reason to believe theism is false.

Growing up, I always wondered why I was the way I was. Why did I want to be a girl? I thought, if only I knew why, perhaps there was something I could do about it. The Holy Spirit stirred in me and I began to see my sin, all sin, in its true light and I could see myself for who and what I was, a wretch in desperate need of a savior; I was crushed. I broke down one night and cried out to God confessing my sins and asking forgiveness. For the first time in my life, I repented and put my faith in Jesus. I was then washed clean; made a new creation. I was given a new heart with new desires... I was born again. I saw my lifestyle as repulsive and I hated it, I wanted no more of it; I wanted no more of sin. Even though it didn't seem practical because I was way more entrenched as Maggie than I ever was as William, I began the detransition process. It took three years, it was expensive and it was painful. But as of October of 2023, after 30 years of living a lie, William was back and I live my life now for my savior, for my King. From childhood, I never knew why I was like this, but now, I know, and it's simple. It's because there is sin in the world. Come as you are, and be transformed.
