Sigh. This product does not interest me at all. I have been asking for multi-year term debt against BTC collateral for many years. It's the only reasonable way to borrow. 6 months is not even close. Only thing that's even in the ballpark is joint-collateral with real estate. But even that's not widely available as far as I can tell. Real solutions for borrowing against BTC are always 1 market cycle away. Meanwhile more people too far out over their skis keep reaching out to me for help.

So basically Bitcoin does this thing every 4 years where the entire market thinks bitcoin is dead because the price gets shitted on over and over and over and then it goes back up and everybody forgets about it and gets mad they didn’t buy when it was getting shitted on.

Increase their salaries by 2% Then increase the monetary supply by 8% Now call “savings” their bank accounts that give them 1% Then call the “risk free rate” 4% tied to T Bills to trick them into thinking inflation and cost of living is only 2% accelerating only as fast as their salary Then have riskier debt instruments (IG - junk - private credit) pay 5-8% to make them think they’re outpacing monetary debasement Then call bitcoin a scam so they will be distracted and stay on the never-ending hamster wheel

Strategy are making deliberate moves to address the exact concerns raised by S&P Global. For context, S&P Global is one of the three major credit agencies and operates the S&P 500 index. Getting them onside is critical to index inclusion. In October last year they assigned Strategy a B- credit rating and outlined three conditions for an upgrade. 1) Improve USD liquidity. Shortly after, Strategy established a USD reserve. 2) Reduce reliance on convertible debt. Saylor has since stated their intention to retire this debt early. 3) Demonstrate strong access to capital markets during a Bitcoin stress event. The recent downturn provided exactly that opportunity and they passed. This is not a coincidence. Saylor is executing methodically against a very specific checklist. The recent announcements about potentially selling Bitcoin make complete sense in this context. It is not a change of strategy. It is a signal to the credit agencies and index committees. A better credit rating unlocks cheaper capital and stronger demand for their preferred products. S&P 500 inclusion is the end goal.

Acquire more Bitcoin than you spend. Share some Bitcoin with a friend. We are closer to the beginning than to the end. The world is broken, but it's on the mend.

Highest volume day EVER on STRC. $424M. This also appears to be THE HIGHEST VOLUME DAY of any preferred stock ever in history. @saylor had a single engine turbo prop Cessna with the MSTR ATM, but now he has a twin engine F22 with both the MSTR and STRC ATMs. He can both raise capital on STRC, while also running the ATM on MSTR to keep leverage ratios in check. Then, by apeing BTC, he pushes the price up, which further de-levers him, giving him more room to run the ATM on STRC. Given (1) the high degree of short interest on MSTR and crypto in general, (2) the huge negative sentiment on crypto broadly, (3) some near term positive catalysts like inflation cooling, unemployment rising, and the new fed chair, I think we are in for a pump of epic proportions here. If IBIT options caused the bust, STRC is going to cause the boom. It's about to get biblical.

I grew up in that big hole in the middle - the Central Valley of California - which is America's agricultural heartland. The valley is the size of Massachusetts and Connecticut combined. On its north-south axis, you have to drive seven hours on the freeway to cover its full length. It produces 25% of the nation's food supply and 40% of its fruits, nuts, and vegetables. And that's not even all of the state's agricultural production. There are huge areas of highly productive farmland outside the Central Valley - Wine Country and the Salinas Valley, for example.
