@AnthonyDiComo It was very generous of the Mets to awaken the Braves as a whole especially Riley and the HR drought by Olsen. They really are quite charitable. At least they rested Ewing for the LH Sale right? Kept the game much closer. #lgm @StevenACohen2 enjoy this game with your family.

@TonyMetroMLB Yes he was terrible, but the fact that this offense has absolutely no fight to nibble a couple of runs here and there just shows the immaturity in the lineup and that the coaches are being ignored. Massive changes must occur for this team to play relevant games again

@Ben_Yoel Also, if they do trade Freddy, I would still want him back but not at his crazy contract ask. He is not an ace but he could still be a solid #2 or #3 with McLean and who knows who else yet.

@Ben_Yoel If they want to contend next year I wouldn't be so willing to trade Holmes. I'd try to restructure his contract. He has been successful as a starter and as a NY player for both teams. Again, you already know he is comfortable here and pitching market is THIN outside of Skubal.

@HHec13 @StevenACohen2 Also, some players need to be traded by deadline period. Baty, Alvarez, Mauricio and Vientos have no future long term here. Get pitching and prospects and rid this roster of players who simply aren't good. Enough chances.

The Mets have had numerous interim managers and they all have records on Baseball Reference. Salty Parker, Roy McMillan, Mike Cubbage etc... this needs to be corrected.
