There is a fundamental problem, a wilfully dishonest problem, with the argument that Zionism means different things to different people or that it simply means supporting a Jewish homeland. The problem is that Zionism, as an ideology, has never manifested as anything other than an ethno-nationalist, colonising movement that has forcibly displaced, massacred and subjugated another people. It doesn't matter what your personal definition is: that is the reality, and no other reality has ever existed. Zionism has never meant anything other than that, has never been anything other than that. It has, in the real world, always acted as a racist doctrine.
