@AiG That argument denies what the Bible says about the universe and also points out that under normal circumstances a person that did something like that would be accused of cheating. In fact the term "attractive nuisance" comes to mind.

@darwintojesus An atheist, by definition, is someone who does not believe in any gods, not even your version. A Christian is somebody who believes in one or more gods, with each individual Christian having their own individual idea of what that one, two, or three gods are.

Well I personally don't think it's possible to measure the effect of prayer simply because there are some organizations that spend all day, every day praying for everybody. However studies that have been conducted show that the success rate is no more than what is explained by probability. There are some cases, usually involving drowning in very cold water and a particular body type, where people have been clinically dead for long periods. While these people may survive, the usual result is that they are mentally impaired. However if you were clinically dead for six hours, I'm sure you can provide the references.
