@maro254 Hey Mark, so being we've been able to enjoy mtg crossing over to D&D, but have we thought of some cool new set: Forgotten Realms or something as cool as that? Seeing Count Strahd or Archdevil Zariel printed onto a MTG card sounds exciting as heck!

@maro254 Negative bias will always exist therefore unfortunately, the voice thousands of players that had a blast playing and winning with Oko, Energy or Companions, will always get completely drowned out by those who had negative experiences with them. We can't let that stop innovation.

@maro254 What's the problem with creating a fun "problem" card or mechanic, that you can fix once it's happened? There's nothing that can't be fixed(banned) if it gets too out of hand. We cannot stop innovation, with balance alone comes stagnation.

@maro254 @efropoker @cryogen_mtg @maximummagic @BenS_MTG @sickofit @TBSdash The only way to allow Companions to run free would be to create such restrictions that made them essentially unplayable. And even then, legacy would likely still make some top 5 deck with 1.

@maro254 @efropoker @cryogen_mtg @maximummagic @BenS_MTG @sickofit @TBSdash Companions are an amazing concept, but they're severely warping formats and destroying innovation. I feel the only balanced companion is Lutri, because forcing your deck into Singleton undoes the constant consistency, the reason why Commander as a format allows such a card.
