@Crowded_Mkt_Rpt @Clement_Ang17 Thanks for the awesome interview! Huge inspiration to all aspiring traders.

@FranVezz Time to chill and go fishing.

@801010athlete Managed to keep size small, focusing on risk first. Couldn't get traction on many trades and underperformed the market this month. Market has been choppy and going nowhere. On hindsight, should have just avoided trading altogether but itchy fingers. Market environment > setup.

This is the time where who you listen to and follow is important. Listen to people like @jfsrev , @801010athlete and @Clement_Ang17 . Because they are objective in their analysis, that’s a key trait in trading. Some of the biggest accounts on X, with the biggest following, have provided the worst advice with stocks down 50%+ in no time. I see no point in fighting the trend, cash is also a position. What was a great trade can become your worst trade. Don’t argue with price. If you don’t know when to get out, you are a boom and bust trader. Anchoring to a prior regime or fundamentals are of the most dangerous things you can do. The narrative and fundamentals are fuel for an advance — but price is what leads it. Without price action confirmation, your narrative or earnings don’t matter. Things change, and you must change with them. $SMH $QQQ $SPY

Brutal market conditions that still remain best in cash. Cash is King!

Trade long enough and all your inner demons come out. Projection from your own shit. Trading is an individual sport. I’ve talked about my stuff for years, been made fun of for being honest about personal life loss and how it affected trading. I never blamed anyone else though. All my problems are my own. Take accountability or buy SPY.

I’m wrong all the time but comments about market about to rally, lockout etc. Ok? Where are the clean set ups then? This is $DELL $NBIS & $ARM when I bought in April. See how tight things were? See the higher lows? Where are the leaders now? Where are charts like this? All I see in growth land is wide & loose lower lows. Share these great charts 👇🏻 If you share Oil and other defense names you’re out of your mind. Bull markets are lead by growth/tech. Prove me wrong. Also, when I bought in April EVERYONE was negative. Now the charts are a mess and you’re bullish? Ok.

Yes, we traders have a boss: The market environment. We can’t control the opportunity set we’re given. I think not internalizing this is what gives traders a lot of issues. This is not a 9-5, and it won’t pay you like one. No matter how hard you work. Tough pill, but an important one.

Chop and volatility remain high and continues to be an easy time to do nothing. Same old boring message from me recently but hopefully it’s keeping a few out of trouble. I’ve been there so many times chopping myself up and giving back gains from strong runs. Don’t recommend it. The time will come to hit the gas again when the trend changes, and it’s so important to keep as much financial and mental capital ready for when it does. Took me a while to fully understand this and longer still to get better at implementing it (and could still be better), but it’s key to compounding gains over a long period. Good trading is often about boredom and patience. Waiting for the right time to strike and having the self control to get out of the mindset of constantly clicking buttons. Less really is more and it can be so hard to fully get your head around this, as most endeavours it is the opposite, but it will be a game changer if you do. For now, just doing my nightly work and keeping note of the strongest stuff so I’m ready for when we get a turn.

10/6/2026 Market regime: 🪓 Constantly reminding myself to be patient and refrain from unnecessary trades (easier said than done). Sizing down if I were to put on any trades. Will be watching the market closely for when to get involved again on the long side (progressively).

@RealSimpleAriel Damn I got stopped out of $RKLB two days in a row. Also missed the 6/20 later in the afteroon session (cos I'm from Asia and I'm already in deep sleep haha)

@michaeljburry It's okay to be wrong. Everyone's gonna get it wrong eventually. But what's not okay is to stay wrong!

🚨Please Read🚨From 1999-2003 I posted in the “Raging Bull” chat room on ICQ. When the market began imploding in 2000 we didn’t insult each other, post “gotcha” BS or act superior. We simply helped each other with our trading experience to navigate the meltdown. Sadly, for the most part that’s not the case on X. The childish back stabbing, insulting trolling, vitriol, screenshot “gotcha” posts, & chest thumping is pathetic. If you believe you’re advancing yourself on this platform from insulting other traders think again. You’re only looking like a foolish juvenile. We should be in this community to help each other win. Period.

NVDA/AMD both said how no AI bubble or whatever....earnings were exceptional. Yet they have both sold....so who cares what they said.

Stay safe out there, folks. It’s a hard market for pros, and it’s a hard market for everyone. I’ve had so many “throw the towel” moments in trading in the past during periods like this. Probably some of you are feeling the pain. That’s the reality of trading. From everything you touched working out two months ago to nasty action for weeks now . Things change rapidly. They always do. The good thing is, through experience you tend to see the clues that lead to these periods and be more prepared when they happen. But that’s not really the solution. Because you’re not always correct, and you can’t have a control of the duration. And the duration is what induces most of the pain. Honestly, nothing else made sense universally except building my foundation around asymmetry and a few extreme outliers per year, and then pushing all my efforts in the following years into increasing that overall outlier % chance. Life, trading, and mental capital have become easier since then. And I’ve never changed since. If you keep reminding yourself that you only need 5–10 outliers per year to have a great year, FOMO is reduced by a big magnitude. It makes it easier to be a watcher rather than an active participant in these moments. It really makes it easier to sit through months of being infrequent and testing the waters while preserving your principal capital. It makes it easier to not jump the gun with every positive sign, but to really wait for healthy action before going in heavily. It takes quite a few periods like these to learn to appreciate it, but if your goal is longevity in this game you'll get it. A perfect system shouldn’t force you to make more trades to make more money. A perfect system is one that lets you profit significantly, even if you spend large portions of the year quietly observing and assessing your environment until you strike hard . A system that rewards thought and patience over rapid, impulsive action. Keep that in mind.

"Sellers are losing strength" The sellers:

@AnkurPatel59 Yes. Up trend is intact, low volume pull back, putting in higher lows/consolidating, latest candle is a tight inside day bar with low volume, showing relative strength to the index. Entry would be the high of the inside day bar, stop loss low of inside day bar.

@TmarketL @jameshadley18 @mcostello316 Thank you for clearing the confusion! This should be highlighted at the bottom of your post. I'd imagine that many would hesitate to join after seeing 'yearly' subscription as opposed to lifetime access.

@PeterLBrandt 1% max. 10,000.
