I’ve got to say it...as a school we rely on the support of our parents...therefore as a headteacher you should expect your staff to attend their children’s nativities, sports day, etc, and their workload should be such that they can read to their children every night. #ShineOn!

@smithsmm @jillberry102 I am hearing mixed messages about whether staff have to submit planning. According to one union website, schools should not ask teachers to submit lesson plans ‘on a regular basis’. Does this mean it can be done less regularly? Still very woolly on this!

@MissSDoherty I had the best maths training I’ve ever had in the last 2 weeks. It was surrounding talk for maths, maths mats, reasoning and problem solving. It was so so helpful, really interesting and proof is in the pudding... we are all using it!
