That's it. That is what #AMaPCon is about and that is who it is for. Other folks are welcome, of course. But this is who we are hear for.
... CENTER at #AMaPcon. We are trying to center #nonbinary, #disabled, #mentallyill, #PoC who don't practice culturally prescribed monogamy.
Well, the short version is, while we are making space for black folks, and trans folks, and etc, etc, there are people we are trying to...
But isn't that reinforcing this oppression silo? How do we deal with this?
It's well and good for me to talk about making space at #AMaPCon for black folks, for trans folks, for neuroatypical folks, etc.
Because @ai_valentin is absolutely right here and it's a problem all around and it relates to what I was talking about earlier.

Disability activism needs to be more intersectional. LGBTQ activism needs to be more intersectional. The oppression silo is real.

We're also going to keep talking about other options for centering folks to whom the usual #polyamory cons are not accessible.
But if folks who we would be making these forums for feel differently, well their opinion counts more than mine.

This way folks who are usually marginalized at cons will know they have a space were THEIR concerns and needs are centered.
So maybe in between workshops we have times when our Zoom Room is open to specific groups of people.
