Our students had an incredible opportunity learning from Science Coordinator Julie Miller, who trained them to run the district’s Traveling “Hands-On, Minds-On” Science Museum. 🧑🔬 Her passion and impact will be deeply missed. We are wishing her all the best in retirement!
We’re celebrating two outstanding young scientists who represented our school at the Greater KC Science & Engineering Fair and came home winners! Ahaan and Spencer received the Gold Level Ribbon, Blue Division Winner Ribbon, and 2nd place in their category! 🌟🔬

Science in action! 🔬🌱 Our students are growing herbs and microgreens while exploring plant biology by investigating what seeds need to germinate, how light affects growth, and why roots and leaves play different roles.
We’re back from Spring Break and loving the sunshine! ☀️📚 5th grade students enjoyed reading together in the outdoor classroom today! Fresh air, great books, and big smiles all around. 🌿✨
🏅We had a great time with our second-grade families at PE Family Night! Lots of movement, friendly competition, and working together. Thank you to our families for joining us for a fun night!
🏀📚 Our 4th graders had an exciting day attending the Women’s Big 12 Tournament! Students who read 12 books and completed 12 hours of fitness during the Reading and Fitness Challenge earned the opportunity to go. They also got to choose a new book to take home!
