It’s good that Kissinger is finally dead but it’s important to remember that he won. He was never held accountable for his crimes and died old, comfortable, and free. Such is the reality with American imperialism- it insulates its worst criminals from real consequence.

@Solidarity_Star Hindsight is 20/20. A lot of FDR’s people, like his VP Henry Wallace, were certified pinkos, and FDR himself favored cooperation with communists over opposition. There were many reasons for communists to think it was not time to push hard yet. But, ultimately it was a bad move.
