@SlowBoiledFrog I started a book during the pandemic. Distractions and life has it on pause for a while now. I hope you finish and share your story. I do feel the process has been therapeutic even though I am only in the beginning.

Healing isn’t as simple as learning to love yourself. It’s going back to the places you stopped loving yourself & remembering why. It’s then holding that part of you close & rescuing them from old pain. The remembering is what makes it hard. The holding is what makes it brave.

Since the narc’s death he’s been in my dreams. Last night’s disturbing nightmare woke me up. Took me forever to realize it was just a dream. It was him crashing my car and walking away with no emotion. I hate that he’s in my head again. Gonna look for a meditation to get him out

Always had my doubts when I was told people with Narcissistic Personality Disorder rarely take their own lives, maybe it’s true. I’m absolutely devastated to learn my ex became of the rare ones today. Trying to process it best I can but this is really hard.

@SlowBoiledFrog I think you nailed it. It was a fear, I was waiting for what seemed to be inevitable but at the same time since no one else understood the depravity of his thought process I was alone and felt ridiculous. I hate this, knowing I was right. Hate it so much.
