You know part answer and I’ll fill in the rest. She has other physical attributes that make up for what she lacks in the face. This part you do know. The second part: that combination is what exactly makes her attractive to a subset of men. For multitudes of ordinary men on instagram, she is not so ordinary as to warrant a pass, but also not so exclusive as to make pursuit seem hopeless. She is “in their league” -- that everyday neighborhood girl who stands out by rising, but not unapproachably, above the rest.

They are going to justify every dollar they get from abroad as serving the Great Cause they are advancing. The Great Cause encompasses the entire left-liberal cause spectrum: Democracy, Secularism, Liberalism, Human Rights, Civil Liberties, Motherhood and Apple Pie. You and I see it as foreign money trying to subvert Indian politics. They see any and all money funding the Great Cause (also, only incidentally, funding THEM too) as halal. Shame will not deter them. Getting caught doing the illegal may.

Transnational social media is no doubt a threat to India but it is an even bigger threat India-first parties such as BJP. I am not sure BJP is thinking long-term. It is not going to be in power forever. That is natural electoral dynamics. Once it is down, the global Left mafia, in alliance with local parties in power, will try to kick it hard to incapacitate it permanently. It will lose its social media voice for sure. The removal of impactful pro-BJP content will become a matter of routine. Is the party thinking of this scenario? If it is, I see no signs of it. It should be instituting laws that guard against censorship of content by social media giants. For example, a law that very clearly lays down what kind of content the platform is _expected_ to moderate (eg: child porn) vs content that can only be restricted by explicit state intervention (eg: political views). The law should also facilitate swift judicial remedy in case of over-reach by the platform, and severe penalties if found guilty.
