### The Idiot Who Tried to Outsmart Everyone Once upon a time, there was a man named Tom who believed he was the smartest person in his village. Unfortunately, he never thought before doing anything. One morning, Tom decided to sell his old donkey because he wanted to become rich quickly. Instead of taking the donkey to the market, he stood outside his house shouting, “Who wants to buy a donkey that can fly?” His neighbors laughed, but Tom insisted that his donkey could fly. To prove it, he climbed onto the donkey’s back and shouted, “Take me to the sky!” The donkey suddenly ran forward, throwing Tom into a muddy ditch. Everyone burst into laughter. Embarrassed, Tom stood up and said, “You fools! The donkey was only testing whether I was brave enough to fly!” The next day, Tom borrowed money from his neighbor to buy a ladder. He climbed onto his roof, believing he could touch the clouds. When his mother saw him, she shouted, “Tom, what are you doing up there?” Tom replied proudly, “I am going to heaven to ask God for money!” His mother shook her head and said, “If God wanted to give you money, He would have started by giving you common sense!” Tom paused, looked at the sky, and said, “Maybe I should ask for common sense first.” From that day onward, Tom became the biggest joke in the village. But he finally learned one important lesson: Being foolish is not the same as being unintelligent, but refusing to think before acting can turn a small mistake into a big disaster.
