Sorry, I totally misread your question. My brain is a little cooked. I haven't worked out the classes yet, or their functions, but the Grid Scavengers will be a general purpose class for melee and ranged attacks. I suppose all the classes will at some level, but I'll make some of them shine in other areas. Maybe dual wield pistols?

I think this might be enough work for the night. Hard to say, but I have other projects I need to work on. 😆 These are two of the character classes, the Forge Brute and Grid Scavenger, standing next to three of the in-game mounts: - Gridwalker (load-bearing ancient hacking machine) - Knucklehopper (melee fighting mount) - Gridstrider (fast map traversal and reconnaissance mount) Let me know what you think! (If you want to talk smack and tell me it sucks, leave a reply. 😂😂😂) And... To all the AI haters out there; Yes. These were all done with LLMs. And yes... I plan on vibe-coding this entire game in C++ / Unreal Engine. Let the 🔥🔥🔥 begin!

The idea for them is basically a beast of burden. They carry materials, scrap, and whatever else you need for crafting, base building, etc. But they're going to have some other special abilities too. The world is an ancient alien planet that, for some reason, just generates scrap. Nobody knows why. The inhabitants form tribes and factions to survive, and farming scrap is basically the means of survival and dominance. Gridwalkers are native to the planet. They can haul far more weight than a player, but they'll also have the ability to "ping" rare and special resources. Dungeons are different. They're secret places that actually have to be discovered. You'll need a Gridwalker to locate them, and only a Gridwalker can hack its way inside so the tribe can gain access. Or, that's the lore inside my head right now. 😂

What started off as a text based MMORPG turned into a AI slop video for an idea that reached 135k impresions. From there it turned into generated images then into generated models. All of those ideas coalesced into a basic prototype in Unreal Engine one evening later. This will end up a game. 😊 Once I'm happy with where it's at and its quality meets my standards, I'll be looking for anyone who would like to get involved (should they feel inclined to do so.)
