May of been thinking a forward sale agreement. PRV market is sort of hot right now with Rocket Pharmaceuticals selling its PRV for $180 million in April a few months ago. Found an example of a PRV forward sale agreement, "In October 2023, bluebird bio signed an agreement with Novartis before FDA approval of its sickle-cell gene therapy. Bluebird agreed to sell Novartis the future PRV for $103 million if FDA subsequently approved the BLA and awarded the voucher.". They didn't end up receiving a PRV tho. Either that or yeah misspoke.

$OCGN Great business update. Key takeaways: PPQ batches completed: “Ocugen has successfully qualified OCU400’s intended commercial manufacturing process and generated batches supporting both the BLA and commercial launch supply.” That is a big deal. Manufacturing and CMC issues are one of the biggest reasons gene therapies run into regulatory problems, with roughly 80% of gene therapy CRLs involving CMC deficiencies. Ocugen has now shown that its intended commercial manufacturing process works and can consistently produce OCU400 to the required standards. That substantially derisks manufacturing ahead of commercialization, again huge deal. No disclosed timeline delays or shifts across the major programs. Everything continues to move forward as planned. OCU410 Phase 3 was cleared by the FDA, the required trial size was reduced substantially, and the program also received RMAT designation. Both are significant because they show how favorably regulators are viewing the platform and the strength of the existing data. Ocugen now has multiple assets receiving unusually strong regulatory recognition. OCU410ST also completed enrollment and dosing ahead of schedule. The MENA terms were laid out: up to $255M in milestones, a 22% royalty on net sales, upfront and development payments, and Ocugen retains responsibility for manufacturing the commercial supply. Cash runway is now projected into 2028, carrying the company through several major clinical and regulatory catalysts. The one thing we did not see was the start of the rolling OCU400 BLA submission. Ocugen would need the completed PPQ data for the manufacturing portion of the BLA, so it is good to see that major requirement now taken care of. If they submit the CMC modules before the Q1 Phase 3 data, that would give the FDA time to review the manufacturing package and allow Ocugen to address any questions or changes earlier if there was any, which would reduce the chance of there being a manufacturing related delay later. If they wait for the Phase 3 data and submit the BLA together, the overall approval timeline listed doesn’t change. It does though leave Ocugen with less time to address any potential CMC questions during the review process. Overall, nearly everything investors wanted addressed was addressed, along with several additional bullish developments. Still to see the plan was to begin a rolling BLA in Q3 and then not see it started, especially while the company simultaneously announced that the PPQ batches supporting the BLA and commercial launch supply were successfully completed, is a bit annoying ngl. 🍻

Exactly, they need authorized shares just like NVIDA google or any other company. If shareholders won’t approve shares they will have no choice but to RS. Company has shown countless times their interests align with shareholders, they won’t dilute us to hell, it took them 5 years to use the last 150m, this batch will last them years to come while they commercialize their 3 blockbuster drugs globally. 🍻

For me incentives/company structure is huge and forms my opinion on what's to come. Here management has had to earn their ownership over years and it's in the form of vested fixed rate warrants, fixed at price of SP at time awarded, vests in chunks over years and expire after 10 years. To put it simple, they fuck us with poor decisions they fuck themselves even harder. Basically it’s not a worry for me, I know their interests align with mine and know it took them 5 years to use the last 150m they authorized. Imo safe to assume it’ll be used strategically and on obligation like comp over years and lead to growth just like the 150m lead us to 3 blockbusters. 🍻

$OCGN yet again. Another trial, this one for Stargardt disease, advances, meaning the data was good. Multiple drugs using one platform all advancing and nearing commercialization, zero serious safety concerns, and stellar efficacy entering massively underserved markets. The more I see these results, the more I feel like the guy begging people to buy Bitcoin back in 2013. It’s just so damn obvious to me that the Phase 3 results in Q1 are going to be stellar. When that happens, the company is going to be re-rated based on the market they’re entering, as well as the other products that will shortly follow using the same platform technology. There are going to be a lot of rich shareholders, and all you’ve got to do is buy a few shares to join them. But most won’t. Why? I honestly don’t know.
