@MattRedmore For a country that lost its collective minds about ID cards, this has a *much* bigger impact on civil liberty. And because it's terribly written legislation it's having unintended consequences all over the place (eg: Reddit blocking support subs for domestic abuse)

@MattRedmore GDPR is somewhat toothless in that event for non-UK based websites. Multiple websites are refusing to service the UK due to the legal risk & I'm uncomfortable trusting companies to hold my data (eg: Persona (Reddit) hold your data for 3 years, and combine it with webscraped data)
