A number of hospitals in this nonprofit health system also participate in the #340B program. How can they use 340B to help vulnerable patients if they are denying those patients care to begin with? The answer is they aren't. They are keeping 340B profit for themselves.

Their hypothesis: “vulnerable populations would experience fewer barriers to care at 340B hospital systems, receive improved drug treatment from such institutions, and, as a result, experience fewer disparities in the care provided and adverse outcomes.”
