@kultra_left @CommunistPolls What Marx and many after him don't understand is that the Paris Commune was essentially two govts. The local assemblies managed daily life, but the top level decisions were mostly decentralized and unaccountable by the Proudhonists and Blanquists.

@kultra_left @CommunistPolls Rigault and Cluseret (later Rossel), were unelected leaders of the police/military. The Committee of Public Safety organized itself into a govt over the local assemblies. Blanquists didn't even care about accountability. Also unilateral deals made with the bank of France.

@kultra_left @CommunistPolls I would look into Lissagarays history, because he was actually there and it's a historical examination. Marxs Civil War in France was a non firsthand declaration of support more than a historical account of what actually happened.
