Please contact the District Attorney of San Bernardino County, @sbcountyda, and demand justice for Firefighter Charles Morton, who was killed in a burn-over while fighting the El Dorado fire, started by a gender-reveal stunt. The persons responsible need to be held accountable.

There is a rapidly spreading vegetation fire in Japatul Valley, southeast of Alpine. It is producing an extraordinarily large volume of smoke, which is spreading into North County. While the smoke may be problematic, this fire is no threat to our area of the County. #ValleyFire

Congratulations to Stephanie Perez for being the first-ever, fire dispatcher, awarded Law and Order’ Medal of Merit. Stephanie provided CPR instructions to the family of an 11-year-old patient for 20 minutes while the fire department was en route. He survived, thru her efforts.

Our very own dispatcher Jennifer Morasco was honored this past weekend at the 911 for Kids ceremony. Jennifer assisted a child caller in getting help for the child’s family and gave the child life-saving instructions while the fire department was responding. Congratulations! #911
