@AiZeyUh @vivalasdrag She performed well, sure, but “lip sync” does mean you kinda know the words. It didn’t matter how she did though, production clearly just wanted to have the storyline of her sending Loosey home. Mistress should have been the other bottom queen to begin with.

@laurenkarcz @MissDahlELama If you’re willing to reach back a bit, I feel like DJ McHale’s “Pendragon” series, Eoin Colfer’s “Artemis Fowl” series, and Anthony Horowitz’s “Alex Rider” series are all kinda in that sweet spot. Pendragon is especially great as it grows in complexity as you read.

@Simply_Rain_S @kelseybogan Omg my 85 y/o neighbor had both a raccoon and (multiple) squirrels fall through her ceiling in her bedroom onto her bed. One squirrel WHILE SHE WAS SLEEPING! She picked a squirrel by the tail and walked it out of the house (she got bit/scratched). My dad got the rest our for her.

@anxiousliblady A decent Bluetooth speaker would be awesome, I’m sure. We often did a movie theater gift card with something. That was universally loved. Or we did two smaller “grand prizes” and would give a giftcard to our local anime/manga store and something related.

@roaringsoftly I used this at baby storytime (I shortened it for baby attention spans) and was told that “babies don’t need to know body parts???” and the “his hers or their bodies” was inappropriate. The best part though? They said “the experts at Target say this book is for 3-5 y/o’s.” 🙄
