@SaraSoueidan Agreed. When looking at new gadgets I'm most excited about it have a USB-C port (or having a USB-C port shape). I'm fully onboard to with this to reduce costs and prevent e-waste.

The only real incentive to upgrade my iPhone would be a USB-C port. Anything else is just unnecessary "decoration" at this point. #minimalist

@hashnode Udemy, because I'm more likely to get a higher quality course than than the other options mentioned. Also I'm grateful my computer pays for a Udemy Business subscription so I get some courses for free.

Tip: It's powerful for senior engineers to admit when they don’t know something. You can learn from others who do. This normalizes admitting where you have knowledge gaps (but want to learn) and is healthy for teams to see.

@SaraSoueidan I voted "No" as I prefer using CSS features in production that already have enough browser support, and gracefully degrade when not supported by a specific browser. I did use a JS polyfill was to make child elements the same height and it was painful! 😭

⚛️ React tip: when conditionally rendering component based on some string enum (like a role), use an object to map enum values to components. This can be cleaner than using conditional operators, and it keeps the logic organized & clear.
