@blaarg5657565 @defense_diaries We don’t but it’s hard to imagine that 11 jurors lied especially when everyone from the judge to the lawyers has acknowledged how attentive and committed they have been throughout the trial.

I wonder if defense attorney Reddington effed things up with Judge Sullivan by calling him soft and claiming he’s “glossing over” the issue of reasonable doubt. Maybe an hour break is good to bring tempers down.

Judge Sullivan and Reddington going at each other like an old married couple this morning was something else 😭 Judge yelled “What do you want me to do?!” when Red repeatedly suggested his instruction to the jury had been “soft” and Judge reorted that he’ll add more “pizzazz”

@NateNewsNow I just assume the foreperson doesn’t know the legal lingo well enough to have phrased the statement more effectively. Any doubt is okay. Had they said “beyond a reasonable doubt” the judge may have had to do something different.

@GogIvanka Exactly, their final expert witnesses this week mentioned that she got each kid separately down the stairs - that doesn’t match up with the whole week of testimony where they were suggesting the phone’s flight climbs proved the phone call happened after or even during the killing

I’m wonder how the jury reacted to Reddington’s closing. I thought he was too huffy and puffy, slamming the table, appealing to the jury’s outrage over how the client he’s come to love has been mistreated. But the jury may not have that love for her so it could seem too emotional

@conlin_lauren I thought the prosecution’s closing arguments were better than the defense’s. They calmly and reasonably presented their theory of what allegedly happened. That said, I do not think they proved their theory beyond a reasonable doubt throughout this trial. So, not guilty?
