Great morning in Derby at the East Midlands GP Deanery AI in Primary Care Symposium. We demoed OSCE Guide, met GP trainees and educators, and heard thoughtful discussions on AI in training, including the safeguards and limitations to keep in mind.
✓ Simple, structured management guidance that makes clinical plans easier to understand and apply
✓ Adjustable consultation timings to better support different learning and examination needs
Our goal goes beyond helping doctors pass an exam.
We’ll be delivering a 10–15 minute live demo and hosting a stand for GP trainees, TPDs and GP Partners to explore how AI can support clinical education and consultation practice.
If you’re attending, come and say hello and experience an AI consultation for yourself!
OSCE Guide is heading to Derby!
We’re excited to be showcasing OSCE Guide at the AI in Primary Care Symposium: Preparing the GPs of Tomorrow for AI-Enabled Practice.
📍 Mickleover Court Hotel, Derby
🗓️ Sept 2, 2026
⏰ 8:30am–1pm
🎤 Demo: 10:45–11:30am
👥 150+ GP trainees
As I mentioned during the session, OSCE Guide is not just a platform for clinicians preparing for postgraduate exams. We’re also building for deaneries and healthcare institutions, giving them a way to run full-day clinical training and assessment sessions using AI simulations.
What does it really look like to build a business while practising medicine?
Grateful to have joined the NDUK Conference to share some of the realities of balancing clinical practice with entrepreneurship, and the challenges of building alongside medicine.
One day, I hope I'll look back on this season and realise these sacrifices were the best investment we ever made.
To any fellow founder-parents balancing training and building: how do you navigate the trade-offs?
I'm probably the "broke" one among my GP trainee colleagues.
Not because doctors are paid particularly well. Well... they aren't, but that's a discussion for another day.
My circumstances are just a little different.
