Boy, we didn't build their corrupt governments or broken systems. Their leaders and citizens have run those countries for over 60 years since independence. Botswana succeeded with strong institutions after 1966 while others chose socialism and corruption. The West ended the slave trade and sent trillions in aid. Sovereign nations own their results today, not ancient history.
