This particular stretch near Makarba area was fine and all. A week back that too in monsoon time it was dug out either by @AmdavadAMC or some utility company and left it just like that. It is just waiting for another accident to get attention from authorities. ☹️

Historically only 4 countries can refine the super-heavy, sour Venuzuelan crude: US, Canada, China and India. Canada is more focused on their own oil sands stuff got its own pipeline/politics mess right now and Trump isn't going to let China touch it. The US Gulf Coast refineries in the gulf coast, already running a lot of heavy crude from Canada now so that leaves India as the only logical option remaining. India was already one of Venezuela's biggest customers way before US sanctions kicked in 2019. Reliance refineries in Jamnagar are built exactly for this. So if the US wants to ramp up Venezuelan flows and actually profit without flooding their own system or letting adversaries get it cheap, India becomes the logical partner.

Many food brands have offered to pay me more than some of the top Bollywood actors and Indian cricketers. I obviously don’t do junk food brand deals, but I don’t even do “clean food” brand deals to remain unbiased. Some brands have even offered me crores to criticize their competitors. But of course, I don’t do any of this. I’m in a very awkward position regarding food brands. I can criticize brands freely, but I can’t praise good brands freely. Because I’m always scared of people doubting my purpose. I’ve learned that Indians don’t mind celebs making crores promoting junk food and paan masala. But they get uncomfortable when someone who tries to do good earns money. For the first few years as Food Pharmer, I didn’t make any money and I used my savings from my US job. As my legal costs started increasing, I realized I can’t rely on my savings forever. So to sustain our movement, I decided to start doing non-food deals (which are 5% of the total deals I get). I still won’t do any food deals for now. I’m unsure whether I’ll do them in the long run or not. I strongly believe in conscious capitalism, and I want to make India a conscious capitalist country. Let's do it together!
