A quick test edit I created from previously unreleased footage of John Brooks reflecting on his experience at the 2014 World Cup ⚽️
The original piece was never posted because of restrictions surrounding the use of tournament footage. For this re-edit, I focused on John’s personal story combining his reflections 🤔
It’s a great example of how footage sitting in an archive can be restructured into a story that still feels relevant today 👀
Hopefully FIFA will not be looking for me… 😅

For this piece with former Bundesliga defender John Anthony Brooks, the goal wasn’t to over-edit the message 🙅🏻♂️
It was to let the words breathe 😮💨
John talks about visualizing moments before stepping onto the pitch, seeing situations in his mind before they happen 🧠

The best edit is the one you barely notice 👀
For this project with John Anthony Brooks, the goal wasn’t flashy transitions or heavy motion graphics 👎
🎯 The objective was to make his morning routine easy to follow for a broad audience while keeping the focus entirely on the story
To achieve that, I:
🌍 Added English subtitles for wider accessibility.
✂️ Kept the edit clean and distraction-free.
👀 Used simple on-screen text and subtle visual hierarchy to make the information easy to scan.
🎯 Focused on clarity over effects.
Not every edit needs to scream for attention. Sometimes, simplicity creates the best viewing experience 😮

For this project, I rebuilt the entire soundscape from scratch because the original recording couldn’t deliver the feeling the visuals deserved 🙅🏻♂️
🔊 Ambience • Breathing • Footsteps • Movement • Message gun etc
Every sound has one purpose: to make you feel the moment, not watch it🫀
That’s the level of immersion I aim for in every edit 🎯

For this piece, I wanted to create a different feeling than you’d normally expect from sports content 😮
Instead of fast cuts and aggressive music, I leaned into a calmer pace, warm color grading, and subtle sound design to create contrast ➗
I also blended into the sequence few AI-generated shots, curious if you can spot them 👀
Always fun exploring new ways to tell a story while keeping the edit natural 🏃

A quick edit for TIOTIO Paddle Club 🎾
Showcasing one of their trainers and giving the audience a chance to get to know the people behind the brand 👀
Sometimes, it’s the simple edits that help build a stronger connection between a brand and its community 🤝
Sorry, but I have to say this - Color grading isn’t about making footage look “cool” 👀
For this commercial piece, my goal wasn’t to create "the most cinematic grade possible" ❌ - It was to REINFORCE THE STORY 🥊
The athlete pushing through fatigue, impact, recovery, and repetition ⭕️
So every grading decision served that emotion:
◆Deeper shadows - for weight and intensity
🔹Cooler tones - to push it away from glossy, towards disciplined
🔶Stronger contrast - for impact and focus
⬛️ A raw & gritty atmosphere - that feels earned, not polished
The reference wasn’t random “moody” images 👎
It was the visual language of brands like Nike, adidas, and ASICS - where color never distracts, it STRENGTHENS THE STORY🔥
In the end, every creative choice should answer one question:
HOW should the audience FEEL? 🤔
•Editing shapes the journey 🧭
•Sound builds the tension 😮
•Color reinforces the emotion 😳
Most viewers won’t consciously notice any of these layers on their own 🙅🏻♂️
But they’ll remember how the story made them feel 🙋🏻♂️

What I enjoy most about projects like these is that the edit isn’t really about boxing 🥊❌
It’s about finding the emotional thread that connects everything together 🔗
For this commercial, I took the following direction:
Struggle → Recovery → Return 🔁
Every creative decision was built around that feeling 👀
🔸contrasting sound design
🔹changes in pacing
🗯️ movement between calm and chaos
The goal was to make the viewer feel the weight of the session, the exhaustion, and ultimately the relief that comes with recovery 💪
That’s what I enjoy most about editing 🔥
Not assembling clips 👎 RATHER - Building stories that make products feel meaningful instead of simply visible 🫡

I received a collection of random phone footage, and unscripted moments captured throughout the process 😑
