@BadAtEnginering @foosel @toms3dp Yeah, I don’t have an issue at all with him not wanting to use Klipper. I wasn’t a fan how he treated us watching the stream and then Twitter. I didn’t stop supporting him bc doesn’t use Klipper but how he portrayed it.

@rknall @foosel @toms3dp And I was completely within my right to stop supporting him. But apparently me not supporting him is financial harm? I don’t really see what the whole issue is, I supported him bc I enjoyed his content, stopped bc I wasn’t.

@foosel @toms3dp I was mostly referring to Tom, but I would still say it’s pretty important to the platform dev to at least have some experience with Klipper. Since from my past experience it felt like a lot of regulars on the octoprint forum was using Klipper.

@foosel @flobler @toms3dp I can’t say I ever experienced the marlin or octoprint discord (mostly because I was already out of the area at a time) but that seems refreshing. I had the constant issue of getting out of date info on the octoprint forum, I never got marlin help.

@foosel @flobler @toms3dp I would say the Klipper discord has been one of the better help experiences I have ever gotten. Compared to something like the Reddit 3dp discord it’s simply night and day. But ofc experiences vary it’s no company backed CS.

@herrmann1001 I mean Epic will bleed right away, apple won’t accept defeat and will definitely play the long game. Weird that Microsoft jumped on epic’s side but Idrk. Since they are the ones who gambled with their game’s future.

@herrmann1001 At least in the past they ended up using your computer to host calls. Kinda like how Xbox used to host the game servers on someone’s Xbox.
