My take: While the intent is good (cleaner rules, less gaming), I’m a bit worried about the risks. Giving validators/triumvirate such a powerful on/off switch could lead to centralised decisions, favouritism, or disputes. New subnets get a fairer shot, but mature ones might get punished too aggressively during dips. Hope the team has strong safeguards — this feels like a double-edged sword for decentralisation. @0xarrash yeah the yc parallel makes sense. subnets can spin up fast and cheap, then emissions actually move toward the ones delivering real value instead of just hype. root reborn optimizing yield on top of that would be a solid next step.
