Related: our automated conversion from ELAN to CLDF, and from FLEx to CLDF is making good progress, and we should be able to propose a web service for this task soon.
We have received some more expressions of interest and have now more than 40 collections being worked on!

Since our launch last year we have already received 4 more expressions of interest, from the Americas, PNG, and Eurasia.
Open Text Collections has five regional boards. We have received expressions of interest for collections in 32 languages so far. An anonymized overview of the progress made is available from opentextcollections.org/collections
Open Text Collections has three major audience groups: 1) speaker communities, 2) typologists, and 3) NLP practitioners. We will provide pdfs/printed books for the speakers, CLDF for the typologists and JSON/CSV for the NLP people, all generated from the same backend.
