Someone asked in the comments what we can do while waiting for an official statement. The honest answer is that the current situation is beyond our control, and we just have to play the waiting game. However, while we wait, what we CAN do is just keep the conversation going and show support for Valko and the game by creating or sharing content that shows him in a positive light. At the end of the day, money talks. If Papergames/Infold deems that releasing Valko, after revisions or whatever they needed to do to clear his name with the government, and if doing so could help the recover their losses, then perhaps he'll be back. We unfortunately have to wait to see what happens but in the meantime can just show our support through social media and offline events to raise awareness.
