This design is especially beneficial for lower-resolution imagery, such as Sentinel-2. While performance naturally decreases with resolution, from aerial (0.25 m) to SPOT-6 (6 m) to Sentinel-2 (10 m), the degradation is substantially lower in Seabed-Net compared to other models.
🚀 Seabed-Net achieves: • Up to 75% lower bathymetric RMSE than traditional regression methods, • 10–30% lower bathymetric RMSE compared to state-of-the-art baselines, and • Up to 8% higher seabed classification accuracy compared to state-of-the-art baselines.
