Islamists are demanding to remove the Durga Temple from the area because seeing Durga Murti is haram for them. The administration controlled them. Islamists Nayan Gazi and gangs demanded BDT 5 lac from them if they wanted to live in peace. But, the Hindu family couldn't pay the money. The incident happened on 27th of May, 2025.
