@nicksteens1 @CLTBlueDevil ...because unlike Carolina, where half their frontcourt has been missing most of the summer and 1 recent addition is ineligible STILL, at the end of AUGUST...they haven't played as a full team yet EVEN NOW, while Duke has been doing it since JBB finished FIBA U17 5 weeks ago.

@nicksteens1 @CLTBlueDevil ...outside...they can DESTROY a team like Carolina on TWO fronts simultaneously. Also, they have huge advantages in both defensive capability (a recent article just pointed out they could be the top defensive team in the country this year), AND in time playing together...

@CLTBlueDevil They were borderline Top 25 with Cameron Fens. Without him...not so much. He was the only guy on the entire roster who weighed more than 215 lbs. Their inside guys are going to get bullied all year long. I mean, just imagine them going up against Duke with their 3 center...

And just as a side note...on the SF battle, while Sarr is clearly the better defender, and Avdalas is the better offensive player...I also think that battle will end up more even, with a slight edge to Duke...IF the rumors about Sarr's improved 3PT shooting prove true.

If it were up to me...based on size, experience and other factors...I would probably start Alexandros Samodurov, with Bennerman as the backup, and use Keita primarily as Stevenson's backup at the 4, until he shows he can handle more playing time and provide solid value.
